Package Itinerary
Day 1

Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, our tour representative will warmly greet you. You will then be transferred to your designated destination in Kandy for an overnight stay, allowing you to enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way.

After checking into your hotel and refreshing yourself, you’ll be taken to the Temple of the Tooth Relic to participate in the grand evening Pooja Aarti ceremony. Situated in Kandy’s former royal area, this sacred Buddhist temple houses the revered tooth relic of Gautam Buddha.

Following the temple visit, you’ll experience a cultural, dance, and musical performance near Kandy Lake. Finally, you’ll be escorted back to your hotel in Kandy for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2

After a delightful breakfast, your day will commence with a visit to Matale. You will explore the Muthumariamman Kovil, a vibrant and traditionally constructed Tamil temple located in the heart of Kandy.

The next part of your day will take you on an excursion to the Riverston mountain area, where you will visit a traditional Tamil temple dedicated to Lord Ram. Discover newly identified Ramayana-associated sites, including Yakkala and Yahangala.

Following this, prepare for a serene jungle walk with historical significance, leading you to the first abode of Sita’s captivity known as Sita Kotuwa.

On your way back from the jungle trail, you’ll embark on a scenic journey to the northeastern Sri Lankan highlands of Knuckles Range, often referred to as ‘the misty valley’ by the local Sinhalese people.

Finally, you’ll return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3

After enjoying your breakfast in Kandy, you’ll check out of your hotel and proceed to your next destination, Nuwara Eliya.

En route, a small city tour will be conducted, allowing for some souvenir shopping and a delightful lunch.

Following lunch, your journey to Nuwara Eliya will resume. Rangoda will be one of your first stops in Eliya, where you’ll marvel at the beauty of Rangoda Falls. Those interested in exploring more can take a walk uphill to visit the beautiful Hanuman Mandir. For those who prefer not to walk, there are options for three-wheelers. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the tea gardens of Manikattu The Rock.

The second half of your journey to Nuwara Eliya will take you to the Sundar Kand area, the same location where Hanuman fervently searched for Sita Mata. This area is renowned for its extraordinary scenic natural beauty that dominates the entire region.

Upon reaching Nuwara Eliya, you’ll check into your hotel for a sumptuous dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4

After a delightful breakfast, your next destination will be the temple of Sita Amman, located in Sita Eliya. This site is believed to be the place of Sita’s captivity known as Ashok Vatika.

Following that, you will visit the Buddhist Stupa at Divurumpola, which, according to the Ramayana trail tale, is the exact spot where Sita’s Agni Pariksha (trial by fire) took place.

The scenic journey back to the west coast will commence after these visits. Upon reaching Colombo, you will be promptly checked into your hotel, where you will be provided with dinner and spend the night.
