Things to Know:

• Dress Code to Temple: While there is no rigid dress code for this temple, it is recommended to dress modestly. It is advisable to include cold-weather attire in your packing list, even when traveling during the warmer summer months.
  • Men: For men, the dress code is dhoti or pyjamas with upper cloth.
  • Women: For women, the preferred dress code is saree or half-saree with blouse or churidar with pyjama and upper cloth.
• Age Limit for Darshan: No Age limit restrictions.
• Instructions while visiting Temples:
  • Pilgrims who book for Darshan should bring the printed copy of their receipt.
  • All devotees required to carry original Photo ID proof at the time of reporting.
  • Most temples do not allow electronic gadgets like mobile phones, cameras, etc. inside the temple.
  • Darshan tickets are non-transferrable.

1. What Is The Baggage Limit For Helicopter?

   • Each passenger is allowed a baggage limit of 5 kgs.

2. Which Helicopter Service Company Are You In Business With?

   • We operate Airbus AS350 B3, Agusta A119, Bell 407 single-engine helicopters. This helicopter is known for its high-altitude performance. The helicopter can seat a total of 6 passengers, maximum total weight permissible is 450 kgs.

   • Every pilot that is employed by these prestigious companies has been in the Aviation business for a really long time. The crew of each helicopter is well versed in offering smooth transfers from one place to another.

4. What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

   • Prior to 15 days of the date of departure – 25% of the total cost
   • Prior to 10 days of the date of departure – 50% of the total cost
   • Prior to 5 days of the date of departure – 75% of the total cost
   • Less than 5 days of the date of departure – no refund
   • Refund will be provided to you only after the complete verification of the cancellation.
   • The refund amount will be either transferred back to your account or collected in cash from our office.

5. How Many People Are Allowed At A Time Inside The Helicopter?

   • At a time only 6 people are allowed inside the helicopter where 1 of them will be a helicopter.

6. What Guarantees My Safety During The Helicopter Yatra Journey?

   • Helicopter services are by far one of the safest and quickest ways of getting to the Char Dham temples. All the helicopters in our fleet go through in-depth checkups of all the helicopter parts before flying, ensuring that the journey is safe and secure.

7. Please give me information about the ground transfer procedures including which are the places where I will be required to do it?

   • In the dhams of Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Badrinath, you will be transferred to the temple via a ground transfer in a taxi which will be provided by us and will also be included in the helicopter yatra package.
     • Yamunotri: You will be transferred from the helipad at Kharsali to the Yamunotri dham via a palanquin or a pony ride.
     • Gangotri: Gangotri temple is situated at a distance of almost 25 minutes from the helipad at Harsil. For ground transfer, we will be providing you with a taxi service that will drop you directly at the main entrance of the temple.
     • Badrinath: You will be provided with a personal taxi service that will transfer you from the helipad at Badrinath to the main temple of Badrinath, which is situated at a mere distance of barely 100 meters.

8. When Is The Most Appropriate Time To Avail The Helicopter Services?

   • You are free to avail the Char Dham yatra by helicopter anytime you like during the open months of travel which stays open for a duration of 6 months.
