Package Itinerary
Day 1

Upon your arrival at Ayodhya railway station/airport, our tour representative warmly welcomes you. The journey begins as we drive to Chandigarh, approximately a 6-hour road trip. En route, we stop for darshan at Mansa Devi Temple near Majra, dedicated to Goddess Mansa, known to fulfill devotees’ wishes. After darshan, continue the journey to Chandigarh, where you check into the hotel. Later, enjoy a short sightseeing tour of Chandigarh, exploring Rock Gardens, Sukhana Lake, and the Tower of Shadows. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

The next day, embark on a road trip to Nainadevi Temple in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district, a hilltop shrine and one of the Shaktipeeths. You can take a cable car ride to reach the shrine, believed to be where the eyes of Sati fell. On the way, visit Chintpurni, where the famous Mata Chintpurni and Mata Sheetla Devi temples are located. Continue to Kangra, check into the hotel, and have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

The following morning, drive to the gorgeous hill station of Dharamshala, known for its ancient and huge temples, including Maa Bagula Mukhi Temple, Jwalaji Temple, Maa Kangra Devi Temple, and Maa Kunal Pathri Temple. Return to the Kangra hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Visit the Chamunda Devi Temple the next morning, a 700-year-old shrine dedicated to Ma Shakti. After completing the rituals at the shrine, embark on a sightseeing tour in Dharamshala, visiting popular places like the Dalai Lama Monastery and Bhagsuang Temple. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Next, drive to Katra from Dharamshala via Jammu. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and spend a relaxing day exploring Katra and its local bazaars. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6

At dawn the next day, start the trek to the Vaishnodevi cave shrine located atop Trikuta Parvat ranges, a 13 km one-way trek. The shrine belongs to Ma Vaishno Devi or Mata Rani and is one of the most popular Shaktipeeths in the country. After Darshan at the shrine, trek back to Katra’s base camp. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

Next, drive to Amritsar en route the famed Wagah border. Witness the ceremonial changing of guards between India and Pakistan at the Wagah border. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, you will be escorted to your pre-decided hotel.

Day 8

The next morning, conduct a short sightseeing tour of Amritsar, visiting the famous Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) and the historical Jallianwala Bagh, the site of the tragic Jallianwala Bagh massacre during British rule. After sightseeing, our representative drops you at the airport/station for your onward journey home, carrying exhilarating memories of this auspicious tour.

Things to Know

Dress Code to Temple

While there is no rigid dress code for this temple, it is recommended to dress modestly. It is advisable to include cold-weather attire in your packing list, even when traveling during the warmer summer months.

  • Men: For men the dress code is dhoti or pyjamas with upper cloth.
  • Women: For women the preferred dress code is saree or half-saree with blouse or churidar with pyjama and upper cloth

Instructions while visiting Temples
  • Pilgrims who book for Darshan should bring the printed copy of their receipt.
  • All devotees required to carry original Photo ID proof at the time of reporting
  • Most temples do not allow electronic gadgets like mobile phones, cameras, etc. inside the temple.
  • Darshan tickets are non-transferrable.
