Upon your arrival at Amritsar railway station, our tour representative extends a warm welcome and accompanies you to your hotel. Return to the hotel for a delightful dinner and a restful night.
Following breakfast, embark on a brief city tour of Amritsar, exploring iconic sites such as the Golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara, the historic Jallianwala Bagh memorializing the tragic events of 1919, and Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s summer palace. After sightseeing, journey to Katra via Jammu and Pathankot. Check into the hotel upon arrival for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with breakfast before commencing the trek to the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi shrine from the Katra base camp. The one-way trek covers a distance of about 13.5 kilometers, leading to the revered cave shrine atop Trikuta Parvat ranges—one of the essential Shaktipeeths in the country. After the divine Darshan, trek back to Katra and retire to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.
The following morning, post-breakfast, drive to Mcleodganj in Dharamshala. Check into the hotel upon arrival and proceed to visit the Dalai Lama temple and handicrafts center. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
The next day, post-breakfast, head to Jwalamukhi, stopping en route to visit the Chamunda Devi temple and Brajeshwari temple in the Kangra valley. Explore the fierce form of Goddess Shakti at the Chamunda Devi temple and pay homage to Sati Mata at the Kangra Brajeshwari temple. Continue your journey to Jwalamukhi, where the temple of Jwalaji, the flaming goddess, awaits. After Darshan, check into the hotel and rest for the night.
On the final day, drive to Chintpurni Devi temple, dedicated to Ma Chintpurni, another manifestation of Goddess Shakti, also known as Chinnamasta Devi. After the sacred Darshan, return to Amritsar and conclude your divine Himalayan Odyssey. Our representative will escort you to the airport/railway station for your onward journey home.
While there is no rigid dress code for this temple, it is recommended to dress modestly. It is advisable to include cold-weather attire in your packing list, even when traveling during the warmer summer months.
